Sandy Tuttle joined American Caribbean Real Estate-Lower Keys when the Ramrod Key office opened in June.
After graduating from college in Maryland, Sandy set out to experience a year and a half adventure to Southeast Asia. She spent a year teaching English to children in Thailand, then went on to explore the highest place on Earth, the Himalayan Mountains. Sandy has happily been calling the Florida Keys home since her return to the States in 1998.
For the first few years, she and husband Kip lived aboard and crewed a beautiful 55-foot sailing vessel, “Carib Owl,” based out of Marathon. It was a great pleasure to share the beautiful islands and the unique Keys lifestyle with guests from all over.
In 2005, Sandy decided to make the Lower Keys home. She earned a license to sell real estate and started her career.
When American Caribbean opened the office in Ramrod Key in 2012, Sandy was eager to join the team. Prior to coming on board with ACRE, Sandy was a top-producing agent at Schwartz Property Sales and Century 21 Schwartz in Big Pine Key.
The personal experience of living aboard a vessel with a deep draft gives Sandy the edge when assisting customers that have large boats and special needs for access.
